Faithful reader's of the Mt. Baker Bits blog will remember our encounter with the teen-magician extraordinaire, Sterling.

An incredible talent at a very early age.

 

Well, we might be late-come'rs to this next prodigy, but you might be too!  We caught Vince Mira at a benefit at Seattle's Paramount Theatre last night (great seeing Kevin Howard again, and the event's co-host Jan Bloch).  Vince is an unassuming teen from Federal Way, Washington (just south of Seattle).  Numerous YouTube entries, and he's even got his own page on Wikipedia.

 

Amazing!  You should certainly put him on your calendar this year.  You'll be able to say "I knew him when"!

And his original songs are just as good as his impeccable Johnny Cash covers.
