As you know, these ultra-expensive and ultra-sharp knives are guaranteed for life!
And you might also know that my daughter made serious money over a couple of summers selling these wonderful tools.
A good friend recently enquired how/where to ship the knives for sharpening or replacement. So, for those of you for which this applies:
Ship your product to:
CUTCO Cutlery Return/Repair
322 Houghton Avenue
Olean, New York 14760.
Enclose a return card or a note explaining what service you are requesting. Remember to include your name, address, phone number and email address so we can promptly return your product.
There is a return shipping/handling fee of $6.00 (1-3 items) or $9.00 (4 or more items). Please make your check payable to CUTCO.
To protect everyone who may handle your shipment, be sure to cover the blade(s) with the original protective cardboard sheaths. If you did not save these, you can use cardboard (cereal box cardboard works well). Be sure to cover the entire blade of the knife. Avoid using tape directly on the blades and handles. Place them in a cardboard box with extra packing material to keep them secure during shipping. Do NOT ship knives in padded envelopes.
A final word of warning. I received my knives back from Cutco last Thursday, and by Friday night I was sporting a viscious cut on my finger. Be Very Careful with these knives.
