Again, woefully off topic, last Saturday nite I was called onstage at Renton's IKEA Performance Center to "assist" a really great magician! This was a benefit for Special Olympics and a chance to actually see the magnificernt Sterling!

Yours truly was onstage for almost 10 minutes, while lord knows what was going on! My eyesight's not that good these days, and the lights were so bright...

But I got rave reviews, and the performer's mom said she had some great shots that she'd forward on...

When I get my stage shots, you'll see 'em here first!

Sterling is only 17 years old, and from Whatcom County (we won't hold that against him ;-)

but he has a nice breadth of variety of magic tricks, and makes a superb crowd connection, very outgoing, smiling, bringing you into his next sleight of hand or illusion. Intelligent and professional, and there were NO profanities throughout the entire evening! Bravo!

He and his lovely assistant Jessica provided an ultra-fun and very different kind of evening.

I highly recommend you catch a show before Sterling winds up living in Las Vegas. Seriously.

Can't end without a shout-out to the also Supremely Good Adam Gerhke who MC'd the evening, and the totally insane and uber-talented "Brothers from Another Mother". and the other fun performers.
