An amazing Act of Heroism

 

We had an absolutely marvelous and amazing time at the Inaugural.  More pix coming as soon as I can figure out my computer thing...

 

A word of warning to all blog readers:  Before I left Seattle, I purchased a 4gb SD card for my camera, to get all of the photo's and mpg's of our Incredible Adventure.

The 4gb card completely shut down my camera!  When I replaced the 4gb card with a smaller 1gb card, VOILA! No problems... unfortunately, I figured that one out after I returned home.

 

Beware of SD cards with huge memory allocations.  Many devices won't be able to open them, and you'll find yourself with a useless SD card!

 

Lastly, a word of gratitude to our hostess Marion, who we never met.  She sent US a thank you note for treating her home so gently!  This from the woman who gave us the keys to her house and promptly left town!  This from the woman who came home a day earlier than we'd expected, and when she saw our "stuff" still in her home, she left again and stayed with HER friends!!

Marion was the most spectacular host I've never met!
