Hosted by Sens. Murray & Cantwell. In attendance w/ Cong. McDermott (at podium),
Inslee, & Reichert.

Incredible stories of Mayor Nickels, Sea Police Chief, McDermott's brother among dozens of others denied entry to the Inaugural seating areas!!
McDermott took Larry & me on a private tour of the Capitol Building. Stood on the floor of the House & (a highlight) shook hands with Senator DENNIS KUCINICH- one of the most ardent opponents of the last Administration.

I love Dennis Kucinich. He is such a gentle soul and I really like his positions. Country just isn't ready for that kinduv non macho energy yet. I've seen him twice on Maui and had a couple personal email exchanges. I am most excited about his idea to establish a Department of Peace as a cabinet level post. Yay Dennis!
