On the other hand, our hosts for the party we're attending during the Inaugural Parade warn of 2-3 hour waits for a ride on the commuter underground rail Metro!
Yes, the New York Heritage Society is keeping us current with the latest- including the warning that NO taxi's will be allowed anywhere near the Parade Party hotel for a full 20 hours before the Inaugural!
Needless to say, we're taking our hiking boots!
Whether or not the Inaugural "pilgrimage" of 1, 3 or 5 million people actually materializes, your faithful correspondent will persevere!
