There are so many wonderful and interesting things to do
during Inauguration week in DC this year.  Hawaii has at
least 3 official parties, including the Pearl Ball.  And
there are some more “obscure” organizations.
Have you ever heard of the NAMGC?  They have a semi-formal
event the evening before we arrive.  Too bad we will miss
the party held by the National Association of Minority
Government Contractors on the 17th.  And also linked on
www.PresidentialInauguration.com we noticed the Black
McDonald's Operators Association Inaugural Ball … Really!

Of course, how could the event be complete without clever

It is going to be tough to come up with the $450, but it
would have been great to attend the Legends Ball featuring
the H.B. Barnum Orchestra, George Clinton, Chaka Khan,
Harold Melvin & Blue Notes, Rodney Atkins, and others.
